| This frame is similar in design to that used by North Country quilters.
It consists of two long wooden bars with a slot in each end, and webbing tacked along the edge. A smaller bar goes through the slot and is held in place by wooden pegs. The quilt is attached to the frame by stitching it to webbing that has been tacked to the bar.
