Lap quilts can be very expensive to buy, if you have ever visited a craft fair you will know all about the prices and the reason for this is the time some quilters say it takes to produce the piece, as the materials are relatively cheap compared with the amount charged for a lap quilt. If you like lap quilts but don’t like the astronomical prices why not make your own I know what you are thinking, it would take you an age to learn and you don’t have time, but you are wrong, quilting is addictive and easily accessible.
Jenny Barlow has been teaching novice to advance level quilters since nineteen ninety two all over the country and abroad. An introduction to quilting with Jenny is for absolutely anyone who wants to learn, you can visit Jenny at her workshop or find out when she is next on the road and doing a seminar near you. The workshops are infinitely more intimate and you will have more attention from Jenny than what you would get in a seminar group, so we recommend the workshops for beginners, as advanced members do not need as much hands on attention.
