I grew up at the knee of a tailor and a pattern cutter, where I developed an affinity for fabrics and threads. My enthusiasm for quilting began in 1979 after taking classes with many different tutors. From here I learnt and developed a wide variety of skills, both for hand and machine. My teaching career began in 1992 and I have taught a wide range of techniques in an even wider assortment of venues, putting particular emphasis on developing the skills within the student in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I specialise in Durham stlye quilting and give talks and demonstrations around the country. Visitor Number
