Quilting with Jenny is a website dedicated to providing quilters from around the world with news and information on up and coming quilting workshops and seminars run by Jenny Barlow of Durham, and as a small online shop selling the basic tools and fabrics needed for quilting.
An essential tool used in quilting is the quilting frame, the ones that we supply here are similar to the frame design used by North Country quilters which you probably are already familiar with. This quilting frame comprises of two long wooden bars with a slot at either end, there is webbing tacked along the edge. A smaller bar fits through the slot and is held in place by wooden pegs which come with the unit and the quilt is attached to the frame by stitching it to the webbing which you have already tacked to the bar, simple. Don’t worry as full instructions are provided for those who are unfamiliar with this design and we are always at the end of the telephone should you want to give us a call about it.
These quilting frames come in three sizes, forty five inches, sixty and ninety inches and price wise thirty, fifty five and seventy pounds sterling respectively. You cannot purchase our quilting frames via the website, it is telephone orders only, sorry for any inconvenience.
