Insight into Durham Quilts This talk includes a large personal collection of both Durham and Welsh quilts. I cover my own personal journey through the quilts and the social history associated with them. Displaying the two different groups of quilts, I go on to illustrate the comparisons between the Durham and Welsh quilt story. Introduction to Sashiko A short talk meant as an introduction to this style of stitchery with a small sample for you to work on at the end of the talk. Sashiko is a decorative form of stitching, the stitches are made with a contrasting thread to fabric. BACK
